This policy applies to all services booked through our website, phone, email, or in-person consultations. Please read this policy carefully before making a booking to ensure you understand our terms.

Service-Based Business Nature

As a service-based business specializing in event decoration, our offerings differ from traditional retail products. Our services involve significant planning, material procurement, and labor that begins well before your event date. Therefore, our return and refund policies are structured to reflect the unique nature of our business.

When you book our services, we allocate time, resources, and materials specifically for your event. This commitment is reflected in our deposit and cancellation policies outlined below.

Deposit Policy

To secure your event date and begin the planning process, we require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The deposit terms are as follows:

  • Standard bookings require a deposit of 30% of the total quoted amount
  • Peak season bookings (June through September, December) may require a 50% deposit
  • Large-scale or custom projects may require a 50% deposit
  • The deposit is applied to your final balance
  • Deposit is due within 7 days of accepting your quote to secure your date

The deposit secures your date on our calendar and allows us to begin sourcing materials, coordinating with vendors, and developing your custom design concepts.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that unexpected circumstances may require you to cancel your booking. Our cancellation policy is structured as follows:

Cancellation More Than 30 Days Before Event

If you cancel your booking more than 30 days before your scheduled event date:

  • The non-refundable deposit will be retained
  • Any additional payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded in full
  • Refunds will be processed within 14 business days

Cancellation 15-30 Days Before Event

If you cancel your booking between 15 and 30 days before your scheduled event date:

  • The non-refundable deposit will be retained
  • 50% of any additional payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded
  • 50% of additional payments will be retained to cover committed costs
  • Refunds will be processed within 14 business days

Cancellation Less Than 15 Days Before Event

If you cancel your booking less than 15 days before your scheduled event date:

  • No refund will be provided
  • Full payment is due regardless of cancellation
  • This policy reflects our commitment of resources and inability to rebook on short notice

Rescheduling Policy

We understand that events sometimes need to be rescheduled. Our rescheduling policy provides flexibility while protecting our business operations:

  • Rescheduling requests made more than 30 days before the event can be accommodated subject to availability at no additional charge
  • Rescheduling requests made 15-30 days before the event may incur a 15% rescheduling fee
  • Rescheduling requests made less than 15 days before the event may incur a 25% rescheduling fee
  • All rescheduled events must occur within 12 months of the original booking date
  • Only one rescheduling is permitted per booking without additional fees

Rescheduling is always subject to our availability on your requested new date. We cannot guarantee availability and recommend rescheduling as early as possible.

Modification to Services

We offer flexibility in modifying your booked services within reasonable parameters:

Additions to Services

  • Additional services or upgrades can be added at any time subject to availability
  • All additions must be confirmed in writing and may require additional payment
  • Pricing for additions is subject to current rates at the time of request

Reductions to Services

  • Requests to reduce services made more than 30 days before the event will be accommodated with adjusted pricing
  • Requests to reduce services made less than 30 days before the event may not result in a reduced price if materials or commitments have already been made
  • The minimum billable amount is the deposit amount paid

Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond either party's control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, government actions, pandemics, or other force majeure events:

  • We will work with you to reschedule your event to a mutually agreeable date
  • If rescheduling is not possible, we will provide a credit for future services
  • In extreme circumstances where rescheduling or credit is not feasible, we will work with you to find a fair resolution
  • Neither party shall be held liable for non-performance due to force majeure events

Refund Processing

When a refund is applicable according to this policy:

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the cancellation request
  • Refunds will be issued using the same payment method as the original payment
  • Bank processing times may add additional days to receive your refund
  • E-transfer refunds may be processed more quickly than credit card refunds
  • You will receive email confirmation when your refund has been processed

Rental Items

For clients who rent decoration items or props separately from our full-service packages:

  • All rental items must be returned in the same condition as received
  • Items must be returned by the agreed-upon date and time
  • Late returns may incur additional daily rental fees
  • Damaged or missing items will be charged at replacement cost
  • A security deposit may be required for certain high-value items
  • Security deposits are refunded upon satisfactory return of items

Client Satisfaction

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely satisfied with our services:

  • Please notify us immediately during the event if any concerns arise
  • Our team will make every effort to address issues on-site when possible
  • Written complaints should be submitted within 7 days of your event
  • We will review all complaints and work to find a satisfactory resolution
  • Resolution may include partial refunds, credits, or other accommodations depending on circumstances

How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

To request a cancellation or refund, please follow these steps:

  • Contact us by phone or email as soon as possible
  • Provide your booking reference number and event date
  • State your reason for cancellation (optional but helpful)
  • We will confirm receipt of your request within 2 business days
  • You will receive written confirmation of any applicable refund amount

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Return Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. The policy in effect at the time of your booking will apply to your transaction.
